Hari Singh was a thief boy at the beginning of the story. he comes to the Anil house for the purpose of robbing. he even told his wrong name. he first made anil pleased and then start working in his house. he convinces anil as anil was kind, simpleton,and he also need a person for sitting in his sweet counter and also for making his food.
At the end of the story, hari Singh witnessed that even anil know about his (hari Singh) mischief/robbery, but he did not angry on hari and behave like that he didn't know anything about him. since hari Singh has break his belief but he doesn't say hari a single word. this incident change hari Singh views and mind and then he left robbery.
