Respiration is the process in which

energy is released from food in our body.

process takes place as follow :-

1 oxygenated a

ir is inhale into the body through the nostrils.

2 The air from the nasal cavity passes to the pharynx, which leads to the trachea.

3The trachea runs down the neck and divides into two bronchi, which lead into the lungs and further divide into smaller bronchioles. and it futher divide in small bronchioles and the smallest bronchioles are terminated in avioli

4 avioli is baloon like structure which provide surface for exchange of gas.

The walls of the alveoli are thin and covered by blood capillaries to facilitate the exchange of gases in the lungs.

5 In the alveoli, the exchange of gases takes place, CO2

from the blood is replaced with O2

and CO is removed out of body

of breathing.

7 when a person inhale the diaphragm move down , and the chest cavity expand and the oxygen rich air drawn into the lungs .

8 When the person exhales, the diaphragm relaxes and the chest cavity moves back to its relaxed position and

the carbon dioxide rich air is expelled out of the body.

4. Cellular Respiration

5. Exhalation
- The process of respiration is completed with exhalation, where carbon dioxide is expelled from the lungs as we breathe out.
