we get time to reach market is 2.5/5 = 1/2 or 30 mins
time taken to return is 2.5/7.5 = 1/3 or 20 mins
also in return he travels 1.25 km in 10 mins

now , avg speed = total distance/ total time( for 40min
2.5 + 1.25 /(40/60) = 45/8 km/hr
