Given, the age of son is “x”
So, the age of father’s and mother’s be 6x and 5x respectively.
So, according to the question,
= 5x + 6x = [(x - 1)2 - 1]
⇒ 11x = x2 + 1 - 2x - 1
⇒ x2 = 13x
⇒ x = 13
So, the age of the son is 13 years
