Mrs.pumphery was a rich lady who had a pet dog named Tricki .she was very fond of him.She pampered him like her own child. He feel seriously ill because she overfeed him. Tricki was very fat but Mrs pumphrey thought that he was very weak she give him malt, cod liver oil,Horlicks , cream cakes and chocolates,Mr.Harriot the veterinary surgeon, advised to cut tricki's food down and give him more exercise but she did not follow his advice. So, he feel seriously ill. He refused to eat anything.
Mrs pumphrey was a kind hearted lady. She called Mr. Harriot who took Tricki's to his surgery. He cured him by regulating his diet and giving him plenty of exercise.
Mrs pumphrey's love for her dog is admirable but her pampering makes us laugh at her. She does not realise that she herself is responsible for Tricki's illness.
