see broo...>°°~ as we have read earlier...°°°¤ that french want educated vietnamese labour... nd so thats y there were preparing a well developed education system...

bt a question ¿¿ was raised in front of french guid that what language should they replace with chinese.....nd there was two opinion on this topic !
let we discuss both of them //

■ 1st opinion !

□ Some policy maker insisted that the medium of instruction should be french language.
□ In their opinion, once learned the french language, the vietnamese could be introduced to culture and civilisation of france.
□ They thought the educated vietnamese would start respecting french sentiments and ideals, fell the superiority of french culture and work for french.

■ 2nd opinion !

□ Opponents of 1st opinion were against that french become only medium of instruction.
□ They proposed that vietnamese language should be taught in lower classes and french in higher classes.
□ They were also suggested that those few who learned french and adopted french culture should be rewarded with french citizenship.
