Answer:

Highest Electronegativity

Electronegativity is the ability of an atom to attract electrons towards itself when it is bonded to another atom. In general, the electronegativity of elements increases across a period from left to right and decreases down a group from top to bottom.

Therefore, element C, which is an inert gas, has the highest electronegativity because it is the most stable and does not need to attract any more electrons.

Element A, with an atomic number of 6, has the lowest electronegativity because it is located in the far left of the periodic table and has only six electrons, which means it is more likely to give up electrons than to attract them.

Element B, with an atomic number of 8, has intermediate electronegativity because it is located in the middle of the periodic table and has eight electrons, which means it can both attract and give up electrons.

Smallest Atomic Size

The atomic size of an element is the distance between the nucleus and the outermost electron shell. In general, the atomic size of elements decreases across a period from left to right and increases down a group from top to bottom.

Therefore, element A, with an atomic number of 6, has the smallest atomic size because it is located in the far left of the periodic table and has only six electrons, which means its outermost electron shell is very close to the nucleus.

Element C, with an atomic number of 10, has the largest atomic size because it is located in the far right of the periodic table and has ten electrons, which means its outermost electron shell is farthest from the nucleus.

Element B, with an atomic number of 8, has intermediate atomic size because it is located in the middle of the periodic table and has eight electrons, which means its outermost electron shell is neither too close nor too far from the nucleus.

A=6=carbonB=8=oxygenC=10=neonas all of them have equal no. of shells, they belong to the same period (i.e.2nd)Electronegativity increases in a period as we move towards right therefore, oxygen(B) has the highest electronegativity as Neon is inert. Now, atomic size decreases as we move from left to right therefore oxygen(B) will have the smallest atom as inert gas of respective period is biggest in size.hope it helps..@sayoni?
