Total number of students = 1200
Ratio of male to female students = 11 : 4
Number of male students
Number of female students = 1200 - 880 = 320
Number of male students who applied to TCS
Number of male students who applied to other three companies = 880 - 330 = 550
Number of male students who applied to HCL = 0.04 × 550 = 22
Remaining male students = 550 - 22 = 528
Ratio of male students who applied to Genpact to those who applied to Wipro = 5 : 3
Number of male students who applied to Genpact
Number of male students who applied to Wipro = 528 - 330 = 198
Total number of female students = 320
Female students who applied to TCS = 0.3 × 320 = 96
Female students who applied to Genpact = 0.1 × 320 = 32
Remaining female students = 320 - 96 - 32 = 192
Ratio of female students who applied to Wipro to those who applied to HCL = 1 : 3
Number of female students who applied to Wipro
Number of female students who applied to HCL = 192 - 48 = 144
Required number of female students = 96 + 48 = 144
