I think it is both acidic and basic too... bcz pH level of blood is alkaline around 7.4......pH value of saliva is slightly acidic to neutral around 6.5 to 7.5......pH of stomach is very low and acidic being around 4-6 in upper stomach and around 1.5 to 3 in lower stomach.The low pH is due to presence of HCl which helps for the functioning of enzyme pepsin..... The pH of intestine is slightly acidic to neutral being around 5-7...The pH of our skin is 5.5....nd our full digestive tract is somewhere acidic and somewhere basic....
