In Mohammedan Law, it is recognized that a Muslim female is considered to have reached puberty at the age of 15 years. This age is significant as it marks the point at which she is deemed capable of giving her own consent and making decisions related to her marriage. It reflects a legal understanding in Islamic jurisprudence that individuals should attain a certain level of physical and mental maturity before they can enter into a marriage contract.
