What are polar and non polar?
In chemistry, polarity is a separation of electric charges leading to a molecule or it's chemical groups having an electric dipole or multipole moment. Depending upon the relative electronegativities of two atoms sharing electron, there may be partial transfer of electron density from one atom to another. The greater the electronegativity difference, more ionic the bond is and hence said to be polar. Similarly, nonpolar covalent bonds refer to equal sharing of bond electron, which arises when electronegativity of two atoms are equal. All the best .
