Yes.. answer is correct

let the average of all denoted by avg and amount paid by friends be x.

so, according to question, avg=x+5.

now, avg also equals, avg=(145+12x)/13

putting the value of avg in eq. 2

x+5 = (145+12x)/13
or, 13x+65 =145+12x
or, x = 80

Given information:
- I paid Rs 145
- 12 friends paid an equal amount
- Average sum paid by all of us was Rs 5 more than what was originally paid by each of my friends

To find: How much money did each of my friends pay?

Solution:
Let's assume that each of my friends paid x amount.

Total amount paid by all of us = Rs 145 + 12x (since there were 12 friends)

Average sum paid by all of us = Total amount paid by all of us / 13 (since there were 13 people in total)

According to the given information, the average sum paid by all of us was Rs 5 more than what was originally paid by each of my friends. So we can write an equation as follows:

(Total amount paid by all of us / 13) - x = 5

Simplifying this equation, we get:

(Total amount paid by all of us) - 13x = 65

Substituting the value of Total amount paid by all of us, we get:

145 + 12x - 13x = 65

Simplifying this equation, we get:

x = 80

Therefore, each of my friends paid Rs 80.

Final answer: Option (c) Rs 80.
