- Number of people earning each income: 50, 25, 75, 25

Lorenz Curve Calculation
- Arrange incomes in ascending order: 100, 200, 300, 400
- Calculate cumulative percentage of total income for each income group:
- For the first group (100): (100/800) * 100 = 12.5%
- For the second group (200): ((100+200)/800) * 100 = 37.5%
- For the third group (300): ((100+200+300)/800) * 100 = 62.5%
- For the fourth group (400): ((100+200+300+400)/800) * 100 = 100%

Plotting the Lorenz Curve
- Plot the points (12.5, 0), (37.5, 25), (62.5, 75), (100, 100) on a graph
- Connect the points to form the Lorenz curve

Interpretation
- The closer the Lorenz curve is to the line of equality, the more equal the distribution of income
- The area between the Lorenz curve and the line of equality represents income inequality
