Calculation of New Profit Sharing Ratio:
1. Initial Profit Sharing Ratio:
- A:B = 3:2
2. Admission of Partner C:
- C is admitted for 1/5 share of profits
- Half share (1/10) was gifted by A
- Remaining share (1/10) was taken by C equally from A and B
3. Calculation of A's new share:
- A's initial share: 3 parts out of 5 (3/5)
- A gifts 1/10 of his share to C
- A's new share: (3/5) - (1/10) = 1/2
4. Calculation of B's new share:
- B's initial share: 2 parts out of 5 (2/5)
- C takes 1/10 share from B
- B's new share: (2/5) - (1/10) = 1/3
5. Calculation of C's share:
- C's share: 1/5
- C receives 1/10 from A and 1/10 from B
- C's share from A and B: 1/10 + 1/10 = 1/5
6. New Profit Sharing Ratio:
- A:B:C = 1/2 : 1/3 : 1/5
- LCM of 2, 3, and 5 = 30
- A's share = 15 parts, B's share = 10 parts, C's share = 6 parts
- New profit sharing ratio = 15:10:6 or 15:10:6
Therefore, the new profit sharing ratio between A, B, and C is 15:10:6.
