Given information:
- Ratio of boys to girls in the college = 7:8
- Percentage increase in the number of boys = 20%
- Percentage increase in the number of girls = 10%

Calculating the number of boys and girls:
Let the initial number of boys be 7x and the initial number of girls be 8x.
After a 20% increase, the number of boys will be 1.2 * 7x = 8.4x
After a 10% increase, the number of girls will be 1.1 * 8x = 8.8x

Finding the new ratio:
The new ratio of boys to girls = 8.4x : 8.8x = 21 : 22
Therefore, the new ratio of boys to girls in the college after the percentage increase will be 21:22.
