We have the sequence 5n2+2n+3

It will be in AP if it satisfies an-an-1=d where d is a constant.

Here, an=5n2+2n+3

And, an-1=5(n-1)2+2(n-1)+3=5(n2+1-2n)+2n-2+3

=5n2+5-10n+2n+1=5n2-8n+6

an-an-1=5n2+2n+3-(5n2-8n+6)

=5n2+2n+3-5n2+8n-6

=10n-3, which depends on a variable , so its not constant.
