Hummm....to survive on earth we need proper functioning of our different body parts nd for this we need energy in required amount...........now here a question araises how we get energy....i think u know its ans....we get energy by the oxidation of food........and for oxidation of food we need oxygen.....in absence of food (glucose),glycogen if glycogen is wholy is broken into glucose nd if glycogen is wholy used then fats and then proteins.are broken into glucose and then the same is used to produce energy...(proteins is broken then very harmfull substances are released due to which we die)...........so this takes some time while in the absence of oxygen we r unable to produce energy nd hence all of our body functions are stopped nd hence..............HUM JALDI TAPAK JAATE HAI
