4. Abscisic Acid (ABA):

- It inhibits growth and promotes stomatal closure to reduce water loss.
- ABA also plays a role in seed dormancy and germination.

5. Ethylene:
- Ethylene is a gaseous hormone involved in various processes, including fruit ripening, senescence, and stress responses.
- It promotes fruit ripening by triggering the production of enzymes responsible for softening and flavor development.
- Ethylene also induces leaf abscission and senescence.
