Reaction with H2O:
Water (H2O) does not react with aluminum under normal conditions. As a result, it can be stored in an aluminum container without any issue.

Type of Reaction:
The reaction between aluminum and hydrochloric acid is an example of a redox reaction. Aluminum is oxidized to form aluminum ions, while hydrogen ions in the acid are reduced to form hydrogen gas. This reaction is also exothermic, meaning it releases heat. On the other hand, the reaction between aluminum and dilute nitric acid is also a redox reaction but is limited due to the formation of the protective oxide layer.
