Areee Bhai non-metals do not reacts with water however their oxides reacts with certain things like water! for example,u may be aware about acid rain ! Non-metals oxides reacts with droplets of water in atmosphere to give acidic water droplets that rains during acid rain

Usually non metals do not react with water. But their oxides do to give acidic solution. Except fluorine, no other non metal reacts with water in free state. The fluorine with water reaction is as follows :-

*2F2 + 2H20 --> 4HF + O2

*3F2 + 3H2O --> 6HF +O3
