#the various organs of human digestive system in sequence are mouth, oesophagus, stomach small intestine and large intestine. the glands which are associated with human digestive system and form a part human digestive system are salivary gland, liver and pancreas.

i.. Ingestion:- in humans ingestion takes place with the help of mouth.

ii.. Digestion:- digestion of food starts as we put food in our mouth but it help in physical digestion. salivary glands help in chemical digestion by secreting enzymes. the slightly digested food in the mouth is swallowed by the tongue and goes down the pipe called oesophagus. the contraction and expansion movement of oesophagus is called peristaltic movement. this peristaltic movement of food by process the slightly digested food into the stomach. stomach secrets gastric juices contain 3 substances hydrochloric acid, the enzyme pepsin and mucus. the enzyme pepsin in the digestion of proteins present in food to form a smaller molecules. from the stomach the partially digested food enters the small intestine and small intestine in human beings is the site of complete digestion of food like carbohydrates proteins and fats. the small intestine receive the secretion of two glands liver and pancreas.
#LIVER:- liver secrete bile juice.
#PANCREAS:- pancreas secrete pancreatic juice which contain digestive enzymes like pancreatic amylase, trypsin and lipase.
The enzyme amylase break down the stars the enzyme trypsin digest protein and the enzyme lipase break down the emulsified fats.

iii.. Absorption:- the small intestine is the main reason for the absorption of digested food the inner surface of the small intestine is millions of tiny finger like projections card villi. The presence of villi in a role of small intestine a very large surface area and the large surface area of a small intestine help in the rapid absorption of digested food. Digested food is absorbed through the walls of small intestine and goes into our blood.

iv.. Assimilation:-digested food is used for the growth and for energy in human beings it is called assimilation.


v.. Egestion:- the undigested food stored in rectum for some time and when we go to toilet, it is thrown out.

It is something which helps in digestion.. nd im extremely worried about it now as i ate loads of junk food this fortnight.. don't know what to do.. missing my mom's cooked food :((
