a2 = 3 (2 ) +2 = 8

a3 = 3 ( 3 ) +2 = 11

5 + 8 +11 +...+ 77 

It's sum is given by.

S25 = 25 / 2 [ 2 ( 5 ) + 24 × 3 ]

S25 = 1025

Hey aruhi !! here is ur answer....

As it is given that nth term of AP is Ax= 3x+2 ....
By putting value of x= 1,2,3 ....
A1= 3×1 +2=5 ....
A2= 3×2+2=8...
A3=3×3+2=11...

Hence we get first term nd common difference of given AP...
A1 = 5 ; c.d= 3 ( A2 - A1)

Now put it into this formula ,
Sn= n/2(2a+(n-1)d )
n= 25
..................25/2(2×5+(25-1)×3)
..................25/2(10+24×3)
..................25/2(10+72)
..................25/2(82)
..................25×41
..................1025....
Hence, sum of 25 terms of an AP is 1025.......
