Calculation of Electricity Bill for the household for the month of June

To calculate the electricity bill for the household, we need to determine the energy consumption of each appliance and then calculate the total energy consumed. Finally, we can multiply the total energy consumed by the cost of electrical energy to get the electricity bill for the month of June.

Determining the energy consumption of each appliance:

1. Refrigerator:
- Rating: 400 W
- Daily usage: 10 hours
- Energy consumption per day: 400 W * 10 h = 4000 Wh = 4 kWh

2. Electric fans:
- Rating: 80 W each (2 fans in total)
- Daily usage: 6 hours
- Energy consumption per fan per day: 80 W * 6 h = 480 Wh = 0.48 kWh
- Energy consumption for both fans per day: 0.48 kWh * 2 = 0.96 kWh

3. Electric tubes:
- Rating: 18 W each (6 tubes in total)
- Daily usage: 6 hours
- Energy consumption per tube per day: 18 W * 6 h = 108 Wh = 0.108 kWh
- Energy consumption for all tubes per day: 0.108 kWh * 6 = 0.648 kWh

Calculating the total energy consumed:

Total energy consumed per day = Energy consumption of refrigerator + Energy consumption of fans + Energy consumption of tubes
= 4 kWh + 0.96 kWh + 0.648 kWh
= 5.608 kWh

Total energy consumed for the month of June = Total energy consumed per day * Number of days in June
= 5.608 kWh * 30 days
= 168.24 kWh

Calculating the electricity bill:

Electricity bill = Total energy consumed * Cost of electrical energy per unit
= 168.24 kWh * $3
= $504.72

Therefore, the electricity bill for the household for the month of June is $504.72.
