A carbon atom has been no tendency to lose its four valence electrons or gain four more electrons from other atoms. Therefore, carbonatom completes its octet only by sharing its valence electrons with other atoms. As a result, therefore carbon always forms only covalent bonds with other atoms. 😊😊

to GEt it stable form... usse kya to 4 elctrons gain krne padege ya phir loss.. 

but Carbon atom ye nhi kr skta

thats why it make bond by mutual sharing that is COVALENT BOND

n in ionic bond gaining or lossing of electron takes place
