Most Upvoted Answer
Oxygen or carbonmonoxide has more affinity towards haemoglobin?why?
Carbon monoxide is a very aggressive molecule. It's a colourless, odourless, and tasteless gas that islighter than air and can be fatal to life. It has a greater affinity for hemoglobin than oxygen does. It displaces oxygen and quickly binds, so very little oxygen is transported through the body cells.

Oxygen or carbonmonoxide has more affinity towards haemoglobin?why?
Haemoglobin has a lot of affinity towards oxygen, that is why oxygen is carried throughout the body by the haemoglobin. it is carbon dioxide not carbon monoxide. carbon dioxide is more soluble in water, so it gets dissolved in the plasma and travels to the lungs from the organs.
