Can u tell me what is the nature of oxygen acidic or basic?
It depends on the reaction more specifically on the electro -negativity of other reactant.
for ex : - In Potassium + oxide → Potassiumoxide , due to higher electronegativity of oxygen , oxygen accept electron acting as lewis acid and potassium as base.
However in OF2 , flourine accept electron from oxygen . Thus ,oxygen acting as a lewis base.
In some cases oxygen does not change its oxidation state. Or act as amphoteric (neither acidic nor basic) in nature .
So, don’t worry about oxygen . It’s neutral .
I hope ap smj gye hoge.

Can u tell me what is the nature of oxygen acidic or basic?
Hey !! radha we can't predict it completely. ....
Oxygen is basic , acidic nd neither acidic nor basic ...
1) when water molecule forms ,, it gains lone pair of electrons from 2 Hydrogen atoms ....hence , according to Lewis concept it is acidic ...
2) when oxygen fluoride forms OF2 ....then it losses lone pair of electron nd hence called basic too ...
3) sometimes it does not change its oxidation state ....hence neither acidic nor basic...
