The Consortium of NLUs has recently added 18 new locations to the list of available CLAT Exam Centers. The assigned exam center will be based on the preferences indicated in the registration form. Please refer to the table below to view the list of CLAT Exam Centers for 2024.

Steps to choose CLAT Exam Centers 2024

Candidates can select their preferred CLAT 2023 exam centers by following these steps:

Visit the official website of the Consortium of NLUs: Go to consortiumofnlus.ac.in and click on the "register" button.

• Register for the exam: Enter your personal information to register for the CLAT exam.
• Log in to the application portal: Use your mobile number and password to log in to the application portal.
• Select your exam center preferences: Click on "apply" and then select "preferences" on the CLAT application dashboard. Here, you will be given the option to select three exam centers in the order of your preference.

Note: The selection of exam centres must be in the order of priority. This means that the topmost priority of CLAT test city should be selected as Test Centre Preference 1 and so on

• Submit your application form: After providing all the required details, submit your CLAT application form. It is important to note that the candidates can change their test center preferences within the stipulated time period as notified by the authority.

Steps to edit the CLAT Exam Centers 2024 Preference

Candidates will be given the option to edit the CLAT 2023 Exam Centres preference within the stipulated time mentioned by the authority. They can follow the following steps to make changes to their CLAT Exam Centres preference:

• Visit the official website of CLAT 2023 - consortiumofnlus.ac.in
• Login to your account using your mobile number and password
• Click on “edit application” on the CLAT application dashboard
• Select the “preferences” option to make changes to your exam centres preference
• Make the necessary changes and submit the updated preference
• Re-confirm your updated preference and take a print out of the application form for future reference.

Documents to be carried to CLAT Exam Center 2024

It is mandatory to bring a valid photo ID for identity verification, in addition to the CLAT Admit Card 2024, to the exam center. The following ID proofs are accepted: 

• PAN Card
• Passport 
• Photo ID issued by a People's Representative on official letterhead with a photo
• Photo ID issued by a Gazetted Officer on official letterhead with a photo
• Driving License
• Voter's ID Card
• Current ID Card issued by a recognized School/College/University
• Bank Passbook with a photo
• Aadhar card with a photo/ Employee ID/ Bar Council Identity Card.

CLAT 2024 exam centres - Important instructions

While selecting the test cities from CLAT Exam Centres, the candidates must keep the below points in their mind. 

• Candidates must arrive at the exam center at least one hour before the scheduled start time of the test.
• Candidates must bring a valid photo ID for identity verification, in addition to the CLAT Admit Card 2024, to the exam center. Acceptable forms of ID include PAN Card, Passport, Voter's ID Card, and more.
• Candidates are not allowed to bring any electronic devices, including cell phones, into the exam center.
• Candidates are not allowed to leave the exam center during the test without permission.
• Candidates are not allowed to bring any unauthorized materials, such as notes or books, into the exam center.
• Candidates found to be cheating or breaking any other rules will be disqualified from the test and may face further disciplinary action.
• Candidates must follow the instructions of the exam proctor and any other exam center staff.
• Candidates are required to follow all the guidelines and rules laid down by the test center and the authority to avoid disqualification
