IN FCC unit cell 
x atoms are occupy fcc packing and Y atoms occupy octahedral voids . 
if all the atoms in a diagonal plane are missing , then 4 cornor and 2 face center y atom are missing . 
while 1 body center and 2 edge center x atom are missing . 
contribution of Y at corners = 1/8 * 4= 0.5 
contribution of Y AT FACES = ½ *4 =2 
total atoms = 2.5 
now, contribution of x at the edges = ¼ * 8 =2 
the formula will be 
X25Y2 
OR IN SIMPLEST METHOD IT WILL BE  X5Y4
