A man complete a journey in 10 hours. He travels first half of the journey at the rate of 21 km/hr and second half at the rate of 24 km/hr. Find the total journey in km.

Let the total journey be 'd' km
Then,
Distance covered in the first half of the journey = d/2 km
Distance covered in the second half of the journey = d/2 km
Using the formula, speed = distance/time,
Time taken to cover the first half of the journey = (d/2)/21 = d/42 hours
Time taken to cover the second half of the journey = (d/2)/24 = d/48 hours
Total time taken to complete the journey = (d/42) + (d/48) = (4d + 3d)/168 = 7d/168 hours
