A man buys 200 oranges for Rs 10. How many oranges a rupee can he sell...
Given:
Cost of 200 oranges = Rs 10

To find:
Number of oranges that can be sold for Re 1 to make a profit of 25%.

Solution:
Let the selling price of 1 orange be Rs x.
So, the cost price of 1 orange = Rs 10/200 = Rs 0.05

Profit percentage = (selling price - cost price)/cost price * 100
25 = (x - 0.05)/0.05 * 100
x - 0.05 = 25 * 0.05
x = 0.05 + 0.0125
x = 0.0625

So, the selling price of 1 orange is Rs 0.0625
Number of oranges that can be sold for Re 1 = 1/0.0625 = 16

Therefore, the man can sell 16 oranges for Re 1 to make a profit of 25%. Answer: (C)
