Regulation of Kidney Function

ADH Release and Water Intake

Increase in Glomerular Blood Flow and Angiotensin II Formation

An increase in glomerular blood flow stimulates the release of renin, an enzyme that converts angiotensinogen to angiotensin I. Therefore, ADH release is still regulated by the body's hydration levels, rather than by external factors such as temperature or evaporation.
