A, B, C subscribe Rs. 50,000 for a business. A subscribes Rs. 4000 mor...
Let C = x.
Then, B = x + 5000 and A = x + 5000 + 4000 = x + 9000
So, x + x + 5000 + x + 9000 = 50000
⇒ 3x = 36000
⇒ x = 12000
A : B : C = 21000 : 17000 : 12000 = 21 : 17 : 12
So A's Share

Given:
- A, B, and C subscribe Rs. 50,000 for a business.
- A subscribes Rs. 4000 more than B.
- B subscribes Rs. 5000 more than C.
- Total profit = Rs. 35,000.

To Find:
- The share of A in the profit.

Solution:

Let's assume that C's subscription amount is x.

So, B's subscription amount will be x + 5000.

And A's subscription amount will be x + 5000 + 4000 = x + 9000.

Calculation of Shares:

Total subscription amount = Rs. 50,000

So, x + (x + 5000) + (x + 9000) = 50,000

3x + 14000 = 50,000

3x = 50,000 - 14000

3x = 36,000

x = 36,000 / 3

x = 12,000

So, C's subscription amount is Rs. 12,000.

B's subscription amount = Rs. 12,000 + Rs. 5000 = Rs. 17,000.

A's subscription amount = Rs. 12,000 + Rs. 9000 = Rs. 21,000.

Calculation of Profit Shares:

Total profit = Rs. 35,000.

The ratio of A's, B's, and C's subscription amounts is 21000:17000:12000, which simplifies to 21:17:12.

A's share = (Total profit * A's subscription amount) / Total subscription amount
= (35000 * 21) / (21 + 17 + 12)
= 735000 / 50
= Rs. 14,700.

Therefore, A's share in the profit is Rs. 14,700.

Hence, the correct answer is option D) Rs. 14,700.
