Verified Answer
X, Y and Z started a business. X gets 20% of profit as a working partn...
Let, Total profit = 100x
As a working partner X gets = 100x × (20/100) = 20x
Remaining Profit = 100x – 20x = 80x
In the ratio ,2 : 3 : 5,
Share of X = 80x × (2/10) = 16x
Share of Z = 80x × (5/10) = 40x
According to the problem,
⇒ 20x + 16x = 36000
⇒ 36x = 36000
⇒ x = 1000
∴ Share of Z is = 40 × 1000 = 40000
