A milkman mixes 6 litres of free tap water with 20litres of pure milk....
Given data:

- Quantity of free tap water = 6 litres
- Quantity of pure milk = 20 litres
- Cost of pure milk = Rs. 28 per litre

To find: % profit of the milkman when he sells all the mixture at the cost price

Solution:

1. Cost price of the mixture
The cost price of the mixture is the sum of the cost of free tap water and the cost of pure milk.

Cost of free tap water = 6 x 0 = Rs. 0
Cost of pure milk = 20 x Rs. 28 = Rs. 560

Cost price of the mixture = 0 + Rs. 560 = Rs. 560

2. Selling price of the mixture
Since the milkman is selling the mixture at the cost price, the selling price of the mixture will also be Rs. 560.

3. Profit earned by the milkman
Profit = Selling price - Cost price
Profit = Rs. 560 - Rs. 560 = Rs. 0

4. % Profit
% Profit = (Profit / Cost price) x 100
% Profit = (0 / 560) x 100
% Profit = 0%

Therefore, the % profit of the milkman when he sells all the mixture at the cost price is 0%.

However, the given answer is option C, which states that the % profit is 30%. This answer is incorrect as it contradicts the calculation done above.
