The correct order of stages of embryogeny in dicotyledonous embryo is:...
Embryogenesis
Following fertilization of the egg cell by a sperm cell, the zygote develops inside the seed. The sequence of development proceeds through histodifferentiation, cell expansion and maturation drying.
The stage of histodifferentiation (referred to as embryogenesis) and is characterized by differentiation of the endosperm and embryo.
This process is similar but unique for monocots, dicots and gymnosperms.

The correct order of stages of embryogeny in dicotyledonous embryo is:...
The correct order of stages of embryogeny in dicotyledonous embryo is:

a) Zygoteproembryoglobular embryoheart-shaped embryomature embryo

Explanation:

1. Zygot: It is the first stage of embryogeny in which the zygote is formed after the fusion of the male and female gametes.

2. Proembryo: It is the second stage of embryogeny in which the zygote undergoes several divisions to form a small ball of cells called a proembryo.

3. Globular embryo: It is the third stage of embryogeny in which the proembryo gets differentiated into two regions: the embryonal axis and the suspensor. The embryonal axis develops into the globular embryo.

4. Heart-shaped embryo: It is the fourth stage of embryogeny in which the globular embryo gets transformed into the heart-shaped embryo. The cotyledons, hypocotyl, and radicle start to differentiate.

5. Mature embryo: It is the final stage of embryogeny in which the heart-shaped embryo further differentiates into the mature embryo. The cotyledons become thick and fleshy, and the embryo gets ready for germination.

Thus, the correct order of stages of embryogeny in dicotyledonous embryo is zygote, proembryo, globular embryo, heart-shaped embryo, and mature embryo.
