    The ratio (E3/E2) can be calculated using the formula for the energy levels of a hydrogen atom:

    En = -13.6 eV / n^2

    where n is the principal quantum number.

    For the third energy level (n = 3), we have:

    E3 = -13.6 eV / (3^2) = -13.6 eV / 9 = -1.511 eV

    For the second energy level (n = 2), we have:

    E2 = -13.6 eV / (2^2) = -13.6 eV / 4 = -3.4 eV

    Therefore, the ratio (E3/E2) is:

    (E3/E2) = (-1.511 eV) / (-3.4 eV) = 0.444

    So, the ratio (E3/E2) is approximately 0.444.
