A, B and C invests rupees 8000, 12000 and 10000 respectively in a busi...
Given,
Investment of A = Rs. 8000
Investment of B = Rs. 12000
Investment of C = Rs. 10000
Total investment = Rs. (8000 + 12000 + 10000) = Rs. 30000

Loss = 40% of the total investment
= (40/100) * 30000
= Rs. 12000

To find: Share of loss of B

We can use the formula,
Share of each person = (Investment of that person / Total investment) * Total loss

Share of loss of B = (12000 / 30000) * 12000
= Rs. 4800

Therefore, the share of loss of B is Rs. 4800. Option C is the correct answer.
