In n type semiconductors there are pentavalent impurities. Since the semiconductors consist of atom (such as silicon and germanium) which have their valency equal to 4 therefore when a n type semiconductor is doped with a pentavalent impurity one electron remains free from each dopant atom, thus, making the electrons as majority carriers and holes as minority ones. Therefore option 'C' is the correct answer.
