Corpus callosum is a thick band of nerve fibres. This region connects the two hemispheres and forms the basis of communication in the two hemispheres. Cerebrum is responsible for many activities which are commonly associated with calculation, contemplation, and memory. Medulla oblongata is the part of the brain stem. The cardio-regulatory centre is in the medulla oblongata which responds to the signal given by the baroreceptors. The baroreceptors are involved in the regulation of blood pressure which is homeostatic mechanism. Cerebrum plays an important role in processing and comprehension of language.
