- Mass of bullet = 10 gm = 0.01 kg
- Velocity of bullet with respect to car = 500 m/sec
- Number of bullets fired per second = 10

To find: Average thrust on the system

Formula:
- Thrust = Force = Rate of change of momentum
- Rate of change of momentum = (mass of bullet x velocity of bullet) x number of bullets fired per second

Calculation:
- Mass of all bullets fired per second = mass of one bullet x number of bullets fired per second
= 0.01 kg x 10 = 0.1 kg
- Total momentum imparted to the bullets per second = mass of all bullets fired per second x velocity of bullet with respect to car
= 0.1 kg x 500 m/sec = 50 Ns
- Rate of change of momentum = Total momentum imparted to the bullets per second / Time taken to impart the momentum to the bullets per second
= Total momentum imparted to the bullets per second / 1 sec
= 50 Ns / 1 sec
= 50 N

Therefore, the average thrust on the system is 50 N. Hence, option B is the correct answer.
