Severo Ochoa enzyme is a RNA polymerase that synthesizes RNA from DNA template during transcription. Therefore, it is not directly involved in protein synthesis during translation, which uses ribosomes and transfer RNAs to polymerize amino acids into polypeptides.

Homopolymer of U and copolymer of CU are RNA molecules that consist of repeating units of uracil (U) and a mixture of cytosine (C) and uracil (U), respectively. RNA molecules are composed of nucleotides, each of which contains a sugar (ribose), a phosphate group, and a nitrogenous base (adenine, uracil, cytosine, or guanine).

During translation, the genetic code in mRNA is read by ribosomes in a codon-by-codon manner, each codon specifying a particular amino acid or a stop signal. There are 64 possible codons, but only 20 amino acids are encoded by them, with some amino acids represented by multiple codons.

Homopolymer of U can only encode for the amino acid phenylalanine, which is specified by the codon UUU or UUC. Therefore, it can only polymerize using this amino acid and no other amino acids.

Copolymer of CU can encode for both phenylalanine (UUU or UUC) and leucine (CUU, CUC, CUA, or CUG), which are both hydrophobic amino acids. Therefore, it can polymerize using either of these amino acids, but no other amino acids.

In summary, the number of types and number of amino acids that can polymerize during translation for homopolymer of U and copolymer of CU are:

1. Homopolymer of U:
- Type: 1
- Amino acid: phenylalanine
- Number of amino acids: 1 (repeating unit) x 9 (total units) = 9
