Mark the incorrect-a)Malphigian tubule have is lined by glandular and ...
Incorrect option:
b) Uric acid is excreted out with the help of mid-gut

Explanation:
Uric acid is the nitrogenous waste product excreted by insects. In cockroach, the excretory system consists of Malpighian tubules and hindgut. Malpighian tubules are thin, long, and coiled tubules present in the abdomen. They are lined with glandular and ciliated cells that actively transport uric acid and other waste products from the hemolymph into the tubules. The tubules then empty the waste products into the hindgut, where they mix with fecal matter and are eliminated out of the body through the anus.

Therefore, option b is incorrect as uric acid is not excreted out with the help of mid-gut, but it is excreted out with the help of Malpighian tubules and hindgut.

Correct options:
a) Malphigian tubule have is lined by glandular and ciliated cells in cockroach
c) If the head is cut off, the cockroach is alive for as long as one week
d) Brain supplies nerves to compound eye and antennae
