Verified Answer
Study the following information carefully and answer the question that...
Total students = 1800
Number of boys

Number of girls in Zoology and Anatomy

Therefore, number of girls in Anatomy

And number of boys in Anatomy

Thus, number of girls in Zoology = 360 - 200 = 160
Therefore, number of boys in Zoology = 360 - 160
Number of boys in Botany

Therefore, number of girls in Botany = 440 - 200 = 240
Number of girls in Microbiology

Therefore, number of boys in Microbiology = 300 - 100 = 200
Remaining number of students
= 1800 - (160 + 200 + 200 + 300 + 200 + 240 + 100 + 200)
= 1800 - 1600
= 200
Therefore, number of boys in Pathology = 100
And number of girls in Pathology = 100

Thus, Required ratio = Number of boys in Microbiology : Number of girls in Botany
= 200 : 240
= 5 : 6
Hence, this is the correct answer.
