Initial Conditions:
- Temperature (T1) = 27°C = 300 K
- Pressure (P1) = 4.05 MPa = 4.05 * 10^6 Pa
- Initial volume of acetylene gas = Constant

Given: Half of the mass of gas is used, so the number of moles of gas remains the same.

Final Conditions:
- Temperature (T2) = 12°C = 285 K
- Pressure (P2) = ?
- Volume of gas = Constant

Using the ideal gas law equation:
P1V1/T1 = P2V2/T2
Since the volume remains constant, V1 = V2. Therefore, the equation simplifies to:
P1/T1 = P2/T2

Calculating the final pressure (P2):
P2 = P1 * (T2 / T1)
P2 = 4.05 * 10^6 Pa * (285 K / 300 K)
P2 = 3.8375 * 10^6 Pa
Therefore, the pressure in the cylinder after half the mass of gas is used and the temperature has fallen to 12°C will be 3.8375 MPa.
