Consider the following statements. Which of the statements is correct?...
Explanation:

Hitler's Political Career:
- In 1919, Adolf Hitler did indeed join the German Workers Party, which later became known as the National Socialist German Workers' Party (Nazi Party).
- Hitler quickly rose through the ranks of the party and eventually took over its leadership, becoming the undisputed leader of the Nazi Party.

Failed Attempt in 1924:
- In 1923, not 1924, Hitler and the Nazi Party attempted to seize control of Bavaria in what became known as the Beer Hall Putsch.
- The goal of the Putsch was to march to Berlin, overthrow the Weimar government, and establish a new government with Hitler at the helm.
- The coup failed, and Hitler was arrested and sentenced to prison for treason.
- While the Beer Hall Putsch was a significant event in Hitler's rise to power, it did not directly lead to the capture of power by the Nazis.
Therefore, the correct statement is that Hitler joined the German Workers Party in 1919 and later took over the organization.
