Solution:
The frequency of revolution is given as
f = (1/2π) √(k/m)
where k is the Coulomb's constant and m is the mass of the electron.

Let the frequency of the electron moving in the orbit of radius R be f1 and that of the electron moving in the orbit of radius 9R be f2.

So, we have
f1 = (1/2π) √(k/me) and f2 = (1/2π) √(k/me)
where me is the mass of the electron.

Dividing the above two equations, we get
f1/f2 = √(me/me) × √(9R/R)
f1/f2 = 1/3 × 3
f1/f2 = 1/9

Therefore, the ratio of frequencies of the two electrons is 1:9 or 1/9. Hence, the correct option is (4) 27:1.
