Prolactin is secreted from anterior pituitary (adeno hypophysis) it helps in milk formation, oxytosin is secreted from posterior pituitary (nurohyphopysis) it helps in milk ejection, progesterone is secreted by carpus lutium it helps in maintenance of pregnancy, oestrogen is secreted from ovaris it helps in develep ment of secondary sexual characters.

Prolactin stimulates the production of milk.
Oxytocin, on the other hand, makes the smooth muscle cells around the glands in the breasts contract so that they release the milk. Oxytocin also helps the muscle in the uterus contract during labor.
Progesterone and estrogen, both regulate the development and functioning of the uterus. They act by regulating the transcription of certain genes in the uterus. Estrogen is the hormone that regulates the menstrual cycle while progesterone is the hormone that supports pregnancy.....
