- Function: Involved in secretion, absorption, and protection.
- Location: Found in the lining of the respiratory tract, including the trachea and bronchi.

5. Stratified Squamous Epithelium:

- Function: Provides protection against mechanical stress, abrasion, and pathogens.
- Location: Found in the epidermis of the skin, lining of the oral cavity, esophagus, vagina, and anal canal.

7. Stratified Columnar Epithelium:

8. Transitional Epithelium:
