Given equation of stationary wave is y = 2Asin[2πct/λ] . Cos[2πx/λ]

Let’s consider each statement and check whether it is true or false:

A. The unit of Ct is same as that of λ

The unit of speed (c) is m/s and the unit of wavelength (λ) is m. Therefore, the unit of Ct will be m/s × m = m²/s.

Hence, the statement is false.

B. The unit of x is same as that of λ

The unit of x is m and the unit of wavelength (λ) is m. Therefore, the statement is true.

C. The unit of 2πc/λ is same as that of 2πx/λ.t

The unit of speed (c) is m/s and the unit of wavelength (λ) is m. Therefore, the unit of 2πc/λ will be 2π/s. The unit of x is m and time (t) is in seconds. Therefore, the unit of 2πx/λ.t will also be 2π/s.

Hence, the statement is true.
