The answer is obvious from the fact that metallic iron ( 0 oxidation state ) is "oxidised" to a higher oxidation state ( +3 oxidation state ).

The other options are correct as :
1. The above reaction is a redox reaction
( Iron is oxidised and oxygen is reduced )
2. The metallic iron reduces oxygen to oxide ( O2 to O2
2- ). So it acts as a reducing agent.
3. The ferric ion is a considerably good oxidising
agent. On looking at the table of standard electrode
potentials, we can infer that the reduction potential
for Fe3+/Fe2+ is +0.77 V which makes the ferric ion
a good oxidising agent.

So option (d) is incorrect.
